It’s important to correspond with companies, as this puts you on mailing lists, you receive samples, coupons, etc. This note is in praise of a product. The letter is easily altered if you have a complaint against a company. It’s best to email a letter directly to an email, mail the letter or to call the company. Do not send the forms, as your just one of many.  If you are complaining about a product, calling is always the best way.

If you’re requesting a sample from a company its good to include why you are requesting the sample. Many companies have samples available for those who ask them. If your writing to ask a sample the below letter will work, but alter it to add why you are requesting a certain sample of a certain product. Saying you want one because they are free will most likely get your email ignored.

Be smart about your requests. Your not going to get an Ipad to sample! But you may get some coupons to lessen the price of the Ipad!
