Sandy’s Giant Eagle Food Perk Shopping Trip

I went to Giant Eagle today with both my boys in tow to push carts so I could do my food perks shopping trip. I use my food perks when I have 20% and when pop and 4C iced ta mix is on sale. This are my two biggest expenses that there are never or rarely coupons for. So I want and plan and plot for the week when the stars align. And this week was the week and today was the day that my children dread.

We left for Giant Eagle this morning after the mail came and I had my fresh supply out Stove Top coupons. The Food Perks trip took us over an hour but in the end it was well worth it. We walked out of Giant Eagle with $657.19 worth of groceries for $256.06. Certainly nothing as extreme as you would see on television but I followed all the store coupon rules and used all my coupons correctly.

In the end this is what we walked out of the store with:

15 Pepsi 6 packs

15 Mountain Dew 6 packs

20 Diet Mountain Dew 6 Packs

18 Vlasic Pickles

24 Stove Top Stuffing

4 Cool Whip

4 Jell-o Pudding

9 Keebler Cookies

9 Johnsonville Sausage

5 Gortons Fish

2 Velvetta Skillets

3 Heluva Good Dips

8 Miracle Whip

10 Carnation Milk

1 Gallon Milk

2 Pantene

7 Hair Color

2 Smuckers Jelly

6 Robinhood Flour

2 Minute Maid Orange Juice

I am pretty sure that is it. I also ended up with 90¢ in Fuel Perks and $8 oyno. I also spent enough on P&G Beauty Products that I can Submit for the $15 rebate when you spend $50. Also for the Vlasic and Stove Top stuffing I had 2 different types of coupons so there was no more than 12 of each coupon used.
